Nominated for a 2012 Bessie award for outstanding emerging choreography and outstanding music composition/sound design, A Single Ride is a multimedia dance show that explores the complex love/hate relationships between New Yorkers and the subway.

A Single Ride was commissioned and first presented by Dixon Place with public funds from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and the City of New York Department of Cultural Affairs; and with the private funds from the Mertz Gilmore Foundation and the Jerome Foundation. A Single Ride was also made possible in party by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Swing Space program through a real estate donation from Savanna. Additional space support provided by the Joffrey Ballet School.

Approximately 45 minutes in length.
