SHADOW CITIES

EPHRAT ASHERIE DANCE

This summer, Ephrat Asherie Dance will perform Shadow Cities, a collaboration with Grammy Award-winning pianist and composer Arturo O’Farrill. Performed by seven dancers and four musicians, this work is a contemplative, raucous, celebratory reflection on the unexpected ways we encounter our most enlivened selves. In Shadow Cities, the company moves seamlessly through the edges of light and dark, exploring themes of belonging, longing and the ways we find joy in the in-between.
